Job Title: MEP Estimation Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We’re hiring an MEP Estimation Engineer to lead cost estimation for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems on construction projects. You’ll prepare BOQs, analyze quotations, and ensure all proposals align with technical standards and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

Review MEP drawings and specs for HVAC, fire fighting, drainage, plumbing, and electrical works.

Prepare detailed BOQs and quantity take-offs.

Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.

Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.

Ensure technical compliance with NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and local codes.

Build cost scenarios and complete pricing proposals.

Maintain updated price databases for MEP materials and systems.

Coordinate with planning, legal, and proposal teams on submissions and contracts.

Review cost trends and provide input on risk and feasibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

15+ years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably in KSA.

Strong command of estimation tools (Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, etc.).

Familiar with local and international MEP codes.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
