The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities
🔹 Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
Generate qualified leads via calls, emails, and professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
Assist in developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
🔹 Proposal & Bid Support
Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, expressions of interest (EOIs), and tender documentation.
Coordinate with technical teams to gather content and ensure timely submissions.
Maintain and update proposal templates and marketing materials.
🔹 Market Research & Analysis
Conduct research on target markets, competitors, trends, and client needs.
Provide regular updates on market insights and strategic opportunities.
🔹 Client Relationship Management
Support existing client relationships by coordinating follow-ups, meetings, and communication.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client presentations as required.
Maintain a CRM system to track leads, interactions, and progress.
🔹 Internal Coordination & Reporting
Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to align business development efforts.
Prepare periodic reports on business development performance, forecasts, and lead conversion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
5-8 years of sales or account management experience
Fluent communicator with good English
Hands on experience in CRM tools, Microsoft tools, Tendering process, Registrations, and proposals.
Ability to take risks and reach/ exceed the set targets which shall be discussed and agreed upon successful interview.
