Senior Information Technology Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Engineer who can assist in developing, integrating, and troubleshooting IT systems and provide user training to enhance the value of technology within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand customer requirements and business objectives.

Provide strategic guidance on leveraging technology to meet business goals.

Manage IT initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal technical teams.

Design IT systems and networks, ensuring optimal architecture and functionality.

Support the implementation of new technologies.

Train users on new and existing IT systems.

Assist with resolving technical issues promptly.

Review existing systems and recommend improvements.

Generate technical reports.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.

Work with a variety of operating systems and databases.

Lead and manage projects with a focus on technical outcomes.

Demonstrate strong analytical skills with effective problem-solving abilities.

Foster teamwork and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.

Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal relations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in IT engineering.

• Extensive experience in handling firewall configurations, antivirus software, and comprehensive cybersecurity practices.

• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Active Directory and related systems.

• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, threat detection, and mitigation techniques.

• Experience with vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure system integrity and compliance.

• Familiarity with implementing and managing secure network infrastructures, including VPNs and encryption methods.

• Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure and ensuring secure, efficient IT operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or network management (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are preferred.
