Role Description:

An ideal candidate should be a Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma Degree holder in Mechanical or Electrical major with considerable knowledge on the other (A Mechanical Eng with considerable Electrical Engineering knowledge and vice versa). And in general, assist the Rides Maintenance Engineer in all his duties in the Park.

Qualifications:

Experienced in full sized Amusement Park with all categories of Rides.

Minimum of 5 years in a capacity as a Team Managing / Leading position in addition to the positions of the past in the field of the Amusement Industry.

Very good communication skills is a must for healthy internal and external collaboration.

Possess strong electromechanical knowledge on the Amusement Rides’ controls and operations.

Develop and implement the annual maintenance, operating and labor budget and working within the budget.

Manages and supervises all activities of employees. Duties include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complains and resolving problems.

Perform inspections to review methods, techniques and procedures and ensuring that employee qualifications are current and complete.

Supervise and coordinate the periodic, preventive, corrective maintenance tasks carried out by Ride Technicians on the Rides.

Provide hands-on support to the crew on critical jobs.

Possess very good experience direct on tools for confident guidance of the crew.

Maintain documentation of the jobs done and continually insist the crew to record all jobs (however small or minor it could be).

Willing to work during Public Holidays/peak seasonal Holidays, considering the job in the leisure industry.

Planning and purchasing of all equipment, tools and supplies associated with the mechanical trades.

Ability to source parts by determining the source based on the component’s application and function on the equipment.
