About Our Client

We are working with a successful infrastructure investment team, which is growing its team in the MENA region.

What the job involves

The candidates initial sole responsibility will be as consortium lead for a large project in KSA where the client will be the lead developer on a 6-12 month bidding process

Lead point of contact to the Procurer, to the Consortium and to all internal / external stakeholders

Active participation in commercial, technical, legal and financial workshops to lead participants to desired outcomes

Lead the negotiations of all key transaction documents with support of appropriate legal counsel

Responsibility for timely submission of all bid deliverables to a high-quality standard

Selection of and management of bid advisors

Preparation of suitable Investment Committee recommendations speaking confidently to technical, commercial, legal and financial matters

Ability to understand complex project finance models and work with PF team on inputs

Ability to work with internal and external project finance teams to obtain and negotiate financing packages to support transactions

Ability to identify project risks and devise appropriate risk management plans

Who we are looking for

Experience in PPP / concession style projects, with a minimum of 2 highway / road / tunnel PPPs in a lead role - this is a mandatory requirement

Experience in project development, M&A, private equity, infrastructure investment

Proven track record of leading transactions from bid through to financial close

Strong understanding of legal and commercial aspects of project and transaction documentation

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Strong leadership and communication skills

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse and assess risks and returns

In-depth knowledge of project financing and debt raising process

Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills
