About the Role

Surbana Jurong is seeking Expressions of Interest from technically skilled and driven Electrical Design Engineers to support our upcoming power sector projects in Riyadh, KSA. This role is ideal for mid-level professionals with 5–6 years of experience in electrical engineering and design, particularly within power generation, transmission, or distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop electrical system designs, drawings, and specifications for power infrastructure projects (LV, MV, HV systems).

Perform system studies including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and protection coordination using ETAP or similar tools.

Design of substations, switchgear, cabling systems, grounding, and lighting systems.

Ensure compliance with international and local standards including SEC, IEC, IEEE, and NFPA.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and provide technical support throughout project stages.

Support the preparation of BOQs, design reports, and tender documentation.

Attend project meetings and participate in design reviews and technical discussions with clients.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Diploma holders with strong experience may be considered).

Minimum 5–6 years of experience in electrical design for infrastructure or energy projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, and MS Office.

Previous experience working on Design & Build or EPC projects is an advantage.

Familiarity with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards is preferred.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
