Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, backend development, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for turning complex data into actionable insights that inform key business decisions. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to define technical problem statements, test hypotheses, and build accurate, efficient analytical models aligned with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration & Feature Engineering: Merge internal and external datasets to develop robust features for machine learning models.

Machine Learning & Statistical Analysis: Apply techniques like clustering, classification, and regression to solve real-world problems.

Data Visualization & Communication: Create dashboards and clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Automation & Pipelines: Develop scalable ETL processes using Python and SQL to ensure consistent and high-quality data flows.

NLP & Unstructured Data: Use natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) to extract insights from text data.

Model Deployment: Deploy machine learning models using platforms like Databricks and integrate them into production pipelines.

Simulation & Distributed Computing: Leverage simulation techniques and distributed computing to handle large-scale data efficiently.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Applicants from other disciplines with relevant certifications and hands-on experience in data science will also be considered.

Advanced proficiency in Python for machine learning, backend development, and data pipeline construction.

Strong background in natural language processing (NLP), with the ability to extract insights from unstructured text data.

Proficient in SQL, particularly for analyzing large datasets in cloud-based environments.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for scalable ML model deployment and data applications.
