We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Commercial Excellence Manager based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to oversee our ocular health portfolio across Middle East region. This role focuses on ensuring brand availability and accessibility in both private and governmental sectors, while building strategic stakeholder relationships and driving patient access to innovative treatments.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the reimbursement and regulatory landscape to ensure patient access to innovative ocular health medications
Manage key accounts in Saudi Arabia to ensure brand presence and leadership in the dry eye category
Ensure brand availability across key accounts and marketplace points of sale, facilitating patient access to medications
Secure the presence of innovative brands within the governmental healthcare sector to serve public sector patients
Develop and execute short-term and long-term strategic plans to enhance brand accessibility and market penetration across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East cluster
Lead cross-functional teams and operate independently to drive commercial excellence initiatives aligned with pharmaceutical & medical device industry standards and market dynamics
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree in a healthcare-related field is considered a strong asset
Familiarity with managing brand presence in both private and governmental healthcare sectors, including key accounts and marketplace channels
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial excellence / access role, ideally within the Saudi Arabian market
Arabic and fluent English language skills
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, including the reimbursement landscape and regulatory environment
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and reimbursement authorities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams independently
Strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a track record of executing both short-term and long-term initiatives to ensure brand availability and accessibility
