Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager – Utilities to lead Eaton Arabia’s sales growth in the utility sector, with a strong focus on substation projects for the National Grid (N.G) and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC). The ideal candidate will drive business expansion by working closely with contractors, ensuring Eaton’s solutions are positioned as the preferred choice in all substation projects. This role requires deep market knowledge, strategic relationship-building, and a strong ability to influence key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for N.G and SEC-related substation projects, ensuring alignment with annual project plans.

Identify and engage key contractors executing N.G substation projects, fostering long-term partnerships to secure Eaton’s inclusion as the primary supplier.

Lead customer engagement through regular site visits, tender follow-ups, and post-award support to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to refine sales approaches and maximize opportunities.

Drive sales forecasting and reporting, maintaining an accurate pipeline and delivering periodic performance updates to leadership.

Oversee end-to-end project pursuit, from lead identification to contract closure, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and margin targets.

Facilitate negotiations with contractors and clients, resolving pre-bid and post-bid clarifications to secure profitable deals.

Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, supply chain) to align offerings with client needs and project requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).

7–10 years of sales experience in the power/utility sector, with a proven track record in large-scale substation projects.

Established network with contractors working on N.G and SEC projects.

Ability to translate market insights into actionable sales plans.

Strong influencer with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.

Understands substation solutions and balances customer needs with profitability.

Skilled in closing high-value contracts under competitive conditions.

Self-motivated with a relentless focus on achieving targets.

Proficient in sales forecasting, data analysis, and project tracking.
