Are you passionate about being at the forefront of AI innovation while building culturally relevant experiences? We're seeking a Senior Solutions Architect who can blend technical expertise with cultural understanding to shape the future of voice AI and multimodal experiences in MENA.

In this role, you'll work at the intersection of transformative technology and local customer needs, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to create transformative experiences for our customers. You'll be instrumental in building and adapting AI-powered features that resonate with MENA users, particularly in areas like spirituality, entertainment, and daily utility.

You must be hands-on and comfortable with ambiguity - we operate like a startup within Amazon, requiring both strategic thinking and tactical execution. Your responsibilities will include owning key technical relationships and driving partner success across MENA, with a focus on Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical architecture and implementation of AI-powered solutions, including LLM integration, multimodal experiences, and voice-first applications

Drive innovation in localized AI features, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy

Provide technical consultation to strategic partners, from initial concept through production deployment

Design and implement creative solutions for market-specific challenges using both 1P and 3P integration approaches

Build proof-of-concept demonstrations and technical assets that showcase next-generation AI capabilities

Collaborate with global AI/ML teams to ensure MENA-specific requirements are represented in product roadmaps

Support brand activation initiatives requiring technical expertise

Develop reference architectures and frameworks that enable scale and adoption

Lead technical discussions with C-level executives and influence product strategy

Location: Riyadh only Note: Arabic language proficiency (Gulf dialect) is essential for this role

Key job responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Innovation

Lead architectural design and implementation of AI-powered solutions, ensuring scalability and performance

Drive technical innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging LLM/GenAI capabilities for MENA-specific use cases

Develop proof-of-concept solutions and technical demonstrations for strategic partnerships

Guide the integration of Arabic language models and localization features into

Partner & Stakeholder Management systems

Own technical relationships with strategic partners, from initial engagement through production deployment

Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews with partner engineering teams

Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders, influencing both partner and internal roadmaps

Provide hands-on technical guidance and best practices to partner development teams

Product Development & Integration

Collaborate with global AI/ML teams to represent MENA-specific requirements in product roadmaps

Design and implement creative solutions for market-specific challenges using both 1P and 3P approaches

Build and maintain critical features requiring ongoing technical maintenance and optimization

Drive technical solutions for brand activation initiatives and partner events

Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

Create comprehensive technical documentation and implementation guides

Develop reference architectures and frameworks to enable ecosystem scale

Build reusable components and tools to accelerate partner integration

Share best practices and learnings across the global SA community

Strategic Planning & Execution

Identify and evaluate new opportunities that align with business needs

Provide technical guidance on feasibility and resource requirements for new initiatives

Balance multiple high-priority projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Contribute to long-term technical strategy for the MENA region

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software development, AI/ML systems, or digital solutions, with demonstrable experience in:

Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI applications

Natural Language Processing (NLP) and conversational AI

Voice user interfaces and multimodal experiences

Cloud-based architecture and distributed systems

Technical proficiency in:

Modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript)

Prompt engineering and LLM optimization

API integration and microservices architecture

Version control and CI/CD pipelines

Experience with:

AI model deployment and optimization

Voice technology and speech recognition systems

Cross-platform development

Performance monitoring and optimization for AI applications

Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or related technical field

Master's degree preferred, particularly in AI, ML, or Natural Language Processing

Language Requirements:

Native-level Arabic (Gulf dialect) proficiency

Professional English communication skills

Additional Skills:

Experience with AI development frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Understanding of AI ethics and responsible AI development

Knowledge of Arabic language processing and localization

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Soft Skills:

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiences

Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills

Experience leading technical discussions with C-level executives

Cultural awareness and sensitivity to MENA market dynamics

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
