About the Role

We need a skilled senior developer who can design and implement sophisticated backend systems focusing on security, scalability, and integration with healthcare standards. You'll work directly with our leadership team to develop secure infrastructure that protects sensitive medical data while enabling seamless AI model integration. Your solutions will ensure our healthcare products maintain the highest standards of data protection while delivering exceptional performance.

Responsibilities 🤝

Design and implement secure middleware systems using Python, FastAPI, and potentially Django for managing digital signatures, licenses, and certificates

Develop robust encryption/decryption mechanisms utilizing DEK (Data Encryption Keys) and MK (Master Keys) architecture

Create and optimize RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless integration with client applications and AI models

Implement healthcare data interoperability using HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards

Architect secure systems for AI/ML model integration into healthcare workflows

Establish scalable database solutions with advanced security controls

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate middleware solutions with existing systems

Optimize backend performance for maximum efficiency and reliability

Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

MUST HAVE 🎯

5+ years experience in Python development with a focus on backend systems

Strong expertise in FastAPI framework for building high-performance APIs

Deep understanding of cryptography concepts, including PKI, digital signatures, and encryption techniques (particularly DEK/MK architecture)

Experience implementing secure coding practices and identifying security vulnerabilities

Proficiency in database design and optimization (PostgreSQL preferred)

Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM)

Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML models into production systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to security details

Excellent communication skills in English

Valid work permit or Saudi national
