Job Role:
Overseeing the budgetary controls within the Commercial & Marketing department including preparing financial forecasts, monitoring product performance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and collaborate with various divisions to develop strategic financial plans that support organizational goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare the annual operational plan and financial forecasts in collaboration with other divisions and departments.
Review and assess RTPs (Request to Proceed) from B2B, B2C, HR & SS, BS, Strategy, Finance, CEO, and Marketing segments to ensure adherence to budgetary controls, making decisions to approve or reject proposals.
Prepare budget summaries and obtain management approvals for exceptional items as necessary.
Monitor product performance in real-time, identifying products with low Gross Margin/EBITDA Margin and recommending corrective actions.
Develop and implement an end-to-end process for Business Cases (BC) verification and product pricing.
Create a product costing model and review archived documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Obtain and review the Master Service Document (MSD) for each product to ensure financial compliance.
Review Business Cases to generate 'Income Statement' and 'Statement of Cash Flows' to ensure adherence to financial standards.
Ensure that Business Cases comply with legal regulations and regulatory requirements.
Prepare conclusions and recommendations based on Business Case evaluations.
Communicate and defend recommendations to management and stakeholders effectively.
Determine and define standard product costing methodologies.
Prepare B2B and B2C product analyses as well as Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) reports.
Generate periodic and special reports as required by management to aid decision-making.
Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of all financial documents.
Job Specifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
6-8 years of experience in budget control, financial analysis, or related roles within a commercial or marketing environment. 2 years of experience in leading position.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
