Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the successful delivery of on-demand manufacturing projects in the energy sector, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The Project Engineer will lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and budget control activities while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with Immensa’s objectives and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Manage day-to-day project activities to ensure adherence to schedules and deliverables.
2. Budget Control & Reporting
Prepare project budgets and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor actual costs against budgeted figures, identifying variances and implementing corrective measures.
Provide regular progress and financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key risks and mitigation plans.
3. Risk Management
Identify project risks early and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with Immensa’s quality standards and client requirements.
Collaborate with the Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to resolve technical and quality-related challenges.
4. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams during project execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Conduct regular project reviews with stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary.
5. Continuous Improvement
Capture lessons learned from completed projects and contribute to process improvements for future initiatives.
Support the adoption of digital tools and methods to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
Experience:
3–5 years in project engineering or project management, preferably in oil & gas, energy, or advanced manufacturing industries.
Experience with additive manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
Certifications & Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferable.
Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Agile).
Proven expertise in budget planning and cost control
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards.
Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Power BI, MS Teams, or similar) is a plus.
