Job Purpose:

The Core Banking Developer / Senior Developer /Expert /Senior Expert performs Design and implement new functionality and enhancements based on the logged user change requests, analyses and resolve production incidents in a professional manner.

He must have the following required skills and experience:

Ability to translate requirements and thoughts into proper functional and technical design documents, considerable experience with T24 and Base development, good understanding of the T24 COB build and operation.

Experience with Internet Banking (TIB) and T24 Non-Stop module is an advantage.

Financial investment and banking knowledge are an added value.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science or equivalent (a combination of education and experience will be considered). Prior leadership experience, in a technology company is a must.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills required in T24 implementations with at least two implementations in a private banking client.

Experience in T24/Globus performance finetuning activities / projects is preferred.

Strong working knowledge in jBASE and UNIX/Working knowledge of system and hardware architecture is a plus.

Key Accountabilities

Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and effective solution for the application's infrastructure design within project constraints.

Responsible for identifying and communicating functional issues and risks associated with solutions and participates in infrastructure design reviews.

Defines, promotes and encourages the use of engineering practices. Identifies opportunities for new applications.

Provides consulting and coaching of the system functionalities.

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems.

Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.

Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis is activities. Analyzes complex application systems issues and provides technical solutions.

Analyzes systems requirements and existing business processes and information systems and develops cost-effective information technology solutions.

Serves as liaison between application systems and business for the development of new system processes and application programs.

Participates in complex application systems analysis projects.
