JOB PURPOSE

To design, implement, maintain, and support SAP systems and solutions that meet business requirements. The SAP IT Engineer ensures system stability, performance, and functionality by configuring modules, managing integrations, resolving incidents, and supporting users across various departments. The role involves collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver efficient and scalable SAP solutions aligned with the organization’s IT strategy.

Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, and standards.

Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all tasks.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team environment.

Stay up to date with the latest SAP trends, technologies, and certifications.

Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the IT department.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, HCM, PM to support business operations.

Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure continuous system availability.

Manage integration between SAP and other internal/external systems, ensuring smooth data exchange.

Coordinate and execute SAP system upgrades and patches with minimal disruption.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and user manuals, ensuring compliance with IT governance policies.

Participate in the implementation of new SAP projects or system enhancements.

Monitor system performance and suggest improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Manage user roles and access controls in compliance with IT security policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related field

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP systems support and development and working in SAP Basis Module.

Good knowledge of core SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.). 6. COMPETENCIES
