Summary
The Service Sales Engineer / Sales Executive serves as the link between the customer and the organization. The role involves understanding technical issues faced by customers, reporting them, and providing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify key markets and customers to evaluate the potential for service sales.
Propose strategies and tactics to generate and expand service sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Secure new maintenance contracts and renew existing ones.
Review and document contracts due for renewal and manage the renewal process.
Prepare quotations for maintenance, spare parts, and repair services based on customer inquiries.
Collaborate with service engineers and technicians to ensure successful service sales fulfillment.
Manage assigned sales territory to meet or exceed budget targets.
Monitor the financial performance of the assigned territory (e.g., outstanding payments, actual gross margin).
Comply with company policies, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
Report any HSE concerns, incidents, or nonconformities to the appropriate department.
Communicate HSE requirements and policies to customers.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Business (Marketing/Sales).
2–3 years of experience in sales or service sales.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
Strong market analysis, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Dynamic, creative, and a strong team player.
Languages: English & Arabic (Urdu/Hindi is a plus).
