Job Summary:

As a Consumer Marketing Manager at Lipton, you will spearhead the strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives to drive the growth and success of our tea category in Saudi Arabia. This role demands a strategic and creative mindset, exceptional leadership, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. You will work with the General Manager and cross-functional teams to enhance brand metrics, improve market share, and ensure efficient BMI budget management.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand plans: Develop annual brand plans in full synergy with the mid and long-term plan.

P&L Management: Oversee the financial performance of the overall portfolio, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.

Brand Management: Manage the Lipton Masterbrand, ensuring it aligns with our brand values and market positioning. Handle all aspects of Masterbrand PR to maintain and enhance brand reputation.

Portfolio Management: Lead the upgrade of the black tea general portfolio mix and manage the innovation and renovation pipeline to keep our product offerings fresh and relevant.

Brand Performance: Keep the competitive growth via improving penetration of the brand.

Channel Strategy: Create and deploy customer and channel strategy.

Consumer Understanding: Driving the right consumer understanding, research on time in full through working closely with the Consumer and Marketing Insight team.

Communication Strategy: Lead the communication agenda with meaningful, impactful and disruptive communications for brands.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with global and regional teams to ensure a unified and cohesive approach to strategy implementation and execution.

Talent Catalyst: Ensure the development of the direct reports through empowerment and teamwork

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing

Previous experience in the FMCG beverage industry is a strong advantage

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on brand management and category leadership

Proven track record of delivering topline and marketing KPIs (driving share and penetration)

Experience in managing agencies

Experience in managing digital channels and programs

Passion for date and a robust understanding of the consumer market

Excellent communication in English and Arabic

An entrepreneur’s mindset with strong business acumen

Proven track record of excellent marketing delivery

Strong business and analytical mindset

Expertise in communication strategy and digital tools

Ability to think creatively and strategically

Strong project management and leadership skills (concrete evidence of successful and complex projects)

Developed influencing skills and ability to manage senior stakeholders

Passion for tea and a commitment to consumer-centric innovation
