Job Purpose:
The Manager – Strategy Development Office (SDO) provides critical support to the Corporate Excellence function by ensuring the integrity, consistency, and alignment of performance monitoring, data reporting, and strategic coordination across airport development and airline-related initiatives. The role serves as a key link between strategic direction and analytical execution, guiding data quality reviews, validating project baselines, and overseeing performance reporting to ensure outputs meet organizational standards and decision-making requirements. Through active coordination with internal teams and oversight of analytical activities, the role contributes to overall performance improvement objectives of SDO functions.
Strategic Tasks
Develop the agenda for Board and Board Committees meetings in line with KSIADC’s strategic priorities and objectives. Review proposed agenda items, supporting materials, and draft resolutions in coordination with the Director SDO, VP & CSO. Engage relevant stakeholders to ensure preparedness of inputs, structure a clear storyline for presentation packs, and present the finalized materials to the Director SDCO, VP, and CSO for endorsement.
Oversee the development and implementation of performance monitoring frameworks to ensure alignment of airport development and connectivity programs with organizational targets.
Review and validate analytical reports, dashboards, and performance assessments prepared by analysts to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency with strategic objectives.
Provide guidance on the structure, content, presentation of management reports including Board & Board Committees packs, ensuring outputs meet executive & Shareholders expectations and corporate standards.
Lead the definition of performance baselines, targets, and reporting parameters for airport development, airline initiatives, and related operational programs.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely availability and quality of data, facilitating effective performance monitoring and decision-making processes.
Evaluate the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of internal data repositories, providing direction for necessary improvements to support reliable reporting.
Identify systemic data quality gaps, risks, or misalignments, and drive corrective actions in collaboration with analysts and functional teams.
Provide strategic input to support the organization’s operational readiness and successful airport launch, ensuring data-driven insights inform critical milestones.
Support senior management in interpreting complex performance data, translating technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for decision-making.
Specialized Tasks
Prepare in coordination with Analyst and Business Owners the presentation packs and management reports for Board & Committees, ensuring data accuracy, alignment with historical records, and consistency with organizational messaging.
Guide the integration of historical performance data into strategic reporting, ensuring continuity, comparability, and relevance for senior leadership decision-making.
Oversee the development and implementation of data quality control mechanisms, providing direction to maintain the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of performance data.
Validate baseline assessments, variance analyses, and performance evaluations, ensuring outputs accurately reflect project progress and strategic alignment.
Review and endorse analytical models, visualizations, and dashboards prepared by the team to ensure clarity, relevance, and effective communication of complex information.
Support senior leadership by interpreting complex datasets and performance trends, translating analysis into actionable strategic recommendations.
Direct the response to ad-hoc data analysis and strategic information requests from executive management, ensuring high-quality, timely, and reliable outputs.
Provide oversight and technical guidance to the team in developing reporting tools and performance measurement frameworks, ensuring outputs meet corporate standards and support strategic objectives.
Prepare Management presentation representing KSIADC at various forums on insight on company’s strategic roadmap including project update and KPIs.
Organizational & Administrative Tasks
Oversee coordination efforts with relevant business owners, to support strategic alignment and readiness for Board & Board Committees presentations.
Provide input and oversight in the selection and onboarding process of technical professionals, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and operational needs.
Review and ensure alignment with industry benchmarks and strategic business objectives.
Lead the planning and coordination of training and skills development programs for Strategy, fostering capability enhancement and performance improvement within the team.
Oversee periodic performance reviews of the team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to drive higher standards of performance and delivery.
Facilitate structured communication and reporting processes within the team, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maintaining high-quality outputs for senior management.
Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 6–8 years of experience in managing /supporting Board & Board Committees including performance monitoring, strategic reporting, or data-driven roles, preferably within the airport, transport, infrastructure or consulting background.
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
