Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an API Backend Developer located in Jeddah. The API Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services and APIs, implementing robust software development practices, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. The role also includes debugging, optimizing application performance, and ensuring the security of backend systems.

Qualifications

Proficient in Java, Python, or Node.js; experience with RESTful APIs; knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL); familiarity with version control (Git); understanding of agile methodologies.

Design RESTful APIs based on user requirements.,Implement API endpoints ensuring security and scalability.,Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration. ● FHIR and HL7 standards experience is a must.

Monitor system performance and optimize as necessary.,Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues promptly.,Ensure data integrity and security across application.

Work with product managers to understand requirements.,Engage with QA teams for effective testing of APIs.,Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.

Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming skills

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Experience with Front-End Development is a plus

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Ability to work on-site in Jeddah

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Experience in a DevOps environment is beneficial

Effective communication and teamwork skills
