Job Description

Looking for a Infra Consultant with proven expertise in Microsoft infrastructure technologies, with a good foundation in networking fundamentals. The person should have hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise infrastructures and excel at delivering end-to-end infrastructure services to enterprise clients.

The consultant will play a key role in conducting infrastructure assessments, identifying technical gaps, and delivering optimized, secure, and scalable solutions. The expertise spans on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct infrastructure assessments to evaluate current environments, identify performance and security gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade Microsoft infrastructure solutions on-prem and cloud.

Analyze, plan, and execute upgrades and migrations of Microsoft services (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.)

Provide expert consulting for Microsoft365, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender Suite, and Azure Cloud adoption.

Automate system configurations, security baselines, and compliance enforcement.

Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Deliver architecture and security reviews for mixed-OS and hybrid environments.

Good understanding of container infrastructure and DevOps principles.

Root cause analysis, troubleshooting and logical thinking skills.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Provide strategic consultancy services for infrastructure planning and optimization.

Strong understanding on Zero-Trust principles and compliance requirements.

Skills and Competencies

Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure.

Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Scripting and automation with PowerShell or similar tools.

Security-focused mindset with knowledge of patching, endpoint protection, and compliance tools

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills

Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage

Linux expertise is a plus

Qualifications

9+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure consulting on Microsoft environments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect)
