About the job:
The Sales Director Position is an experienced and dynamic role to lead KSC’s sales team, focusing on electrical equipment and iron galvanization supplements for the construction industry. This role is critical in driving the expansion of our sales volume both domestically and internationally, ensuring alignment with our strategic growth objectives. This is a leadership position, in which including planning, quota setting, reporting, management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales job design, sales program implementation, identification and recruitment of sales force talents, and administration. The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned teams within the sales department and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Strategic Sales Planning:
o Develop and implement an annual strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s growth goals.
o Identify and prioritize target markets and customers, with a strong emphasis on international expansion.
o Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes and profit for existing and new products.
o Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.
• Sales Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
o Ensures that all these departments work effectively and harmoniously to ensure the sales force productivity level stays high.
o Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
o Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
• Market Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the electrical equipment and iron galvanization supplement markets.
o Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
o Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
• Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
o Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of issues. o Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
o Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
• Sales Operations:
o Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
o Manages and oversees key sales functions, such as, the customer support team, the sales management team, the key account management team, and the sales support team.
o Coordinates sales forecasting, budgeting, planning, and process optimization.
o Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
o Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
o Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
• International Expansion:
o Drive international sales growth by identifying new market opportunities and developing entry strategies.
o Establish and manage international sales channels, including distributors, agents, and direct sales.
o Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
o Participation in the shows and conference in/out KSA.
• Budget Management:
o Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
o Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure profitability.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in which leading salesforce in construction or electrical equipment industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, particularly in international markets.
- Candidates must have Experience handling big Projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment and iron galvanization supplements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Electrical Engineering Background.
