Position Summary:

As an Account Manager focused on Smart Cities and integrated technology solutions, you will drive client engagement, oversee strategic accounts, and deliver innovative solutions that align with the client’s vision for sustainable, intelligent environments. This role requires a deep understanding of smart city technologies, integrated systems, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Smart Cities and integrated solutions clients, including project managers, technical leads, and C-level decision-makers.

Solution Consulting: Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions spanning AV systems, surveillance, command centers, meeting and collaboration spaces, building automation, and visitor experience solutions.

Meeting Room Solutions: Provide expertise in designing and deploying meeting and collaboration spaces, including AV integration, unified communication platforms, room scheduling systems, and touch-enabled collaborative displays, ensuring optimal user experience and future scalability.

Sales Cycle Expertise: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and post-sale expansion, while maintaining a strong pipeline. Apply consultative selling techniques to identify needs, craft value-driven proposals, and win strategic accounts.

CRM Proficiency: Leverage CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) to manage opportunities, track customer interactions, forecast revenue, and ensure seamless coordination across sales stages. Monitor and optimize each step of the customer journey for maximum conversion and retention.

Technical Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of smart city technologies such as AV-over-IP, control room systems, IP surveillance, meeting room solutions, building automation, and IoT platforms. Be fluent in working with vendors like Userful, Crestron, Hikvision, Bosch, Samsung, LG, and Sony.

Project Oversight: Support seamless project delivery by coordinating with technical, engineering, and customer success teams. Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends in smart cities, sustainability, and integrated solutions. Provide strategic insights to refine offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven experience (5+ years) in account management, business development, or solution consulting, preferably in smart cities, integrated technology solutions, AV, meeting room systems, and security systems.

Strong knowledge of the sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and post-sale engagement.

Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) to manage pipeline, track interactions, and drive sales success through the entire customer journey.

Deep understanding of AV systems, surveillance solutions, building automation, IoT platforms, and meeting room technologies (AV, UC platforms, room booking, collaboration tools).

Strong technical acumen and ability to engage with both business and technical stakeholders.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with government contracting, public-private partnerships, and sustainability initiatives is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in AVIXA, PMP, or Security Systems are advantageous.
