Static Equipment Lead

reporting to the project engineering management on coordination and real-time follow up of engineering design progress, activities of equipment manufacturers/suppliers & related peculiarities to achieve flawless project delivery, and to the head of department for resources and quality of sub-contractor deliverables.

Performed and coordinated the design development of equipment requisition deliverables, such as equipment data requisition sheets (EDRS), supply technical specifications and inspection data sheets for Columns, Pressure vessels, Shell & Tube exchangers, Air-cooled heat exchangers, Process filters, and API 650 Storage tanks.

Liaised with Procurement team to coordinate and perform technical bid evaluation of vendor quotations in accordance with project technical requirements and procurement strategy for all types of static equipment.

Organised and managed purchase order pre-award meeting and kick-off meeting with selected equipment vendors/manufacturers.

Managed detailed engineering vendor follow-up and fabrication activities of 8 nos. air-cooled heat exchangers to meet up with the project requirement and schedule.

Managed detailed engineering vendor follow-up and fabrication activities of 13 nos. Shell & Tube heat Exchangers to meet up with the project requirement and schedule.

Coordinated 5nos. project specialists on in-country vendor supply of 48 nos. pressure vessels (low pressure and large thickness) and 3 nos. Field Erected Storage tanks during detailed engineering design and fabrication to ensure compliance with Client and project requirements.

Support to post-order quality control team during pre-inspection meetings prior to commencement of equipment manufacturing, and on regular inspections of equipment manufacturing stages at vendor shop.

Support to Construction team for the installation of all mechanical static equipment, Columns, Flare, Incinerator, Air coolers, Pressure Vessels, Filters, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Kettle Reboilers etc.

Support to Quality Control function on related inspections for field modifications and preservation of equipment.

Prepare purchase requisitions and manage vendors for site assistance and intervention during field installation of equipment.

Ensured effective technical support to the development activity on the FEED Project for the NLNG T7 in Bonny Island and subsequently managed in a systematic way the setup, development, analysis, planning, monitoring, and reporting with special focus on the static equipment engineering discipline activities and duties. Also managed the relationship among the Project FEED organization in Milan, Italy and in Nigeria.

Coordinated the development of different document deliverables, such as Equipment Criticality assessment, equipment data requisition sheets (EDRS), technical specifications and inspection Data Sheets for columns, pressure vessels, shell & tube exchangers, air-cooled heat exchangers and process packages.
